  1. Mutual respect is very important . Also, standards….if you share the same respect for yourself an your work ethic and take ownership, things should be better. It can be difficult to deal with new management, etc. Age factors….I find that with some of my supervisors, it is about posterity and they do not respect the years behind me. They think that if they are a part of a management team, they are higher and more powerful. I find that I respect more if I see them leading by example and that includes hard labor. There is an issue now that I am in the middle of….bad communication by a manager that led to a bad morning for the servers/bussers. thanks Jose’.
